Las Vegas Nightclub Dress Codes

Las Vegas Nightclub Dress Codes Explained

You’re probably thinking, “I know all about dress codes in Las Vegas Nightclubs. I don’t need this”. But we can’t tell you how often we have had issues at the door of a nightclub because someone in the party is not dressed properly. So here is our humble attempt to not only explain Las Vegas Nightclub dress codes, but also prevent hold-ups at the front door as a result.

Almost every single official nightclub webpage has similar wording when describing their dress code, for example:

  • Upscale fashionable attire. Collared shirts are required for men.
  • NO hats, shorts, flip-flops, backless women’s sandals, men’s sandals, sneakers (e.g. Nike, Adidas), athletic wear, shorts, ripped or oversized clothing, steel toe shoes or work boots (e.g. Lugz, Timberlands).

Basically what nightclubs are trying to tell you is look good, and put some thought into what you’re wearing at the club. Look your best and groom yourself. Also, keep in mind; nightclubs are looking for a reason to deny your entrance. Dress code is the easiest reason to deny you. So don’t give them a reason for them to take your money and not let you in. Stick to the business casual or smart casual look.

Please do your best to abide by these general guidelines for an easy, and smooth process entering the nightclubs in Las Vegas. If you have doubts feel free to ask your host. That’s what they’re there for. And keep in mind that even pool clubs in Vegas have a dress code, but that’s a talk for another day.
