HOW TO GET INTO LAS VEGAS
NIGHTCLUBS & POOL PARTIES

After choosing which Vegas night and daylife experience you want to attend you have to ask yourself, do I want bottle service OR guest list? Nightlife Unlocked weighs out all the options for you here to help you make an educated decision and ensure you are comfortably within your budget.

1. Do what the procrastinators do and pay the full cover charge at the door.
2. Purchase entry tickets in advance.
3. Tip the door guy for expedited entry in addition to cover charge.
4.VIP table & bottle service.
5. Don’t forget the dress code.

Las Vegas nightclubs with celebrity DJs are among the hardest nightclubs in the world to get into. To avoid hours of waiting in line and being hassle-free it’s very important to know how to navigate and stay within your budget. We listed the different entry options above and will break it down for you below for all Las Vegas nightclubs.

DO WHAT THE PROCRASTINATORS DO AND PAY THE FULL COVER CHARGE AT THE DOOR

This is your slowest/worst option; please plan ahead of time so you don’t end up like most nightclub and dayclub goers standing in line for hours (especially guys). In general, male guests can expect to pay $40 – $100 at the door for cover charge. Female guests will be scrutinized for their level of “beautiful,” and either be charged a lower cover charge than the men or let in for free. Regardless, you may wait up to two hours to get in depending on the DJ, only to pay full price cover charge.

PURCHASE ENTRY TICKETS IN ADVANCE

For those who like to have a plan and get everything confirmed for stress-free nightclub and pool party access, this is a good option. Tickets range from $10 to $100. You purchase tickets based on gender, females usually pay $10-$20 less than guys. Entry tickets are typically $10-$20 cheaper when purchased in advance than at the door. Purchased entry tickets do have an expiration time, typically midnight for nightclubs and 1 pm for pool parties so make sure you are checked in before then. Buying entry tickets in advance is the best way to gain access to Vegas Nightclubs or Pool Parties if you are not doing bottle service.

TIP THE DOOR GUY FOR EXPEDITED ENTRY IN ADDITION TO COVER CHARGE

If you have money for days and are just looking to pop in and grab a quick drink at the bar or just check out the scene tipping the door guy is always an option. If the door guy is doing his job correctly he is able to take a tip and expedite your entry. This keeps you from waiting in the long guest list line BUT the door guy is required to still charge you the venues cover charge as well. The tip amount depends on the venue and the door host but if you offer $50 per girl and $100 per guy you won’t get ignored or laughed at.

VIP TABLE & BOTTLE SERVICE

Options that guarantee club entry are with VIP bottle service. You will be provided seating with a minimum spend on alcohol and/or food. The prime seating locations come with a higher minimum spend. These VIP options usually include booth tables on the dance floor or elevated above the crowd. Las Vegas bottle service has a few variables that are taken into effect when minimums are given to the group. These variables are group size, the location of the table, and the DJ or performer at the venue. On an average night, the typical pricing is 1 bottle minimum per 3-4 people in the group. Bottle prices can start at $500 for the usual spirits and can go as high as $300,000 for that 30L Ace Rosé every Nightlife Unlocked host dreams about selling. Certain tables and locations generally have set minimums. For example, at Hyde Nightclub a $2500 minimum spend for 8 guests could get you a dance floor table but at Hakkasan when Tiésto is playing the same minimum will get you a third or fourth tier/row table.

Is bottle service worth it?

Bottle service in Las Vegas is not for everyone and it is still possible to have a great time and enjoy yourself at a nightclub or pool party without it. Let us be the first to help you weigh the options because it does have its perks and makes sense in some if not most cases. Let’s first compare what it would cost for 8 guys to enter a top club without bottle service compared to with bottle service.

Without: Total cost $1,139+ or $142 per person

  • 8 guys paying cover at $50 = $400
  • 1-hour wait or more
  • Waiting for drinks at the bar
  • No place to sit
  • $12 a drink and 7 drinks per person = $672. Let’s say you only tipped the bartender 10% = $739 total.
Drink prices are similar to what you can expect to pay for a drink at just about any top restaurant, bar, or day club. A single beer will be around $10, and cocktails from $15 and up.

Without: Total cost $1,139+ or $142 per person

  • No cover, no wait in line
  • No waiting to get drinks and a dedicated waitress, busser, and security.
  • A place to sit, talk, and store your belongings.
  • Other perks of getting ladies to the table and security escort to the restroom.

Drink prices are similar to what you can expect to pay for a drink at just about any top restaurant, bar, or day club. A single beer will be around $10, and cocktails from $15 and up.
When you do the math you see it actually would not be too much more for bottle service and to be treated as a VIP. Of course, if you are by yourself or with one or two other people it probably does not make sense though in terms of price. Nightlife Unlocked offers bottle specials that can bring the price down even cheaper if the group is willing to prepay.

  • 3 bottles including tax and tip for $2,100. – $420 Discount
  • 4 bottles including tax and tip for $2,700. – $660 Discount
